Boston
The sun hasn't been out in days. I guess it's just that ol' Mark Twain thing...."If you don't like the weather in New England, wait a few minutes." I can't remember the last time I saw the sun. It seems to happen like that often. Every few weeks, the sun goes to the Carribbean on vacation and leaves us New Englanders with cold, wet, dreary, and melancholy rain...Alas! There is a light! At the end of the tunnel....Daddy's coming!! I'm so excited to see him on one hand, and on the other, I'm a little worried.
I'm still fasting and although things are going well, we were thinking of meeting up for lunch. I don't know that I want to go to lunch with my dad and not eat anything....and that's where my dilemma comes from. I am doing really, really well. But the craving, temptation and urge to have a great time with my dad and enjoy great food is higher than ever. I only have a few hours to decide and I still don't know what I'm gonna do. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens. I'll keep you posted.
