Happy September! ::sigh::

Well folks. It's September, which can only mean one thing: Back to School. Oh how I miss the days of yore when you craved Back to School, just so you could go shopping for all the latest trends; a Trapper Keeper (which I never got, by the way), the brand new LA Gears with the lights in the bottom, those cool mechanical pencils, new erasers, brand new loose leaf paper...Well those days are LONG gone and now there's nothing more that I dread right now. Syllabus after syllabus, arrogant professors who reek of Starbucks Breakfast Blend, and assignments pleading for my attention. The semester is seeming to try and attack me straight off the bat. With my newfound zest for life, I'm not gonna let other people's drama or my own for that matter, get me in a rut. However, I must annouce the drama that has started before the semester can even get some steam. I have 8 classes that I'm taking, however, they've dropped two of them because of prerequisite requirements. That means that I have to hustle to get them back and get waivers from different Chairs of departments. Not gonna be fun. It shoudn't be too hard though, as I work for one of the departments.

My credit load is heavier than you can get at 18 credits, but I'm not worried about it. Jesus has got my back and I'm super organized about it this semester, so I shouldn't have a problem. I do have a slight issue, however, that doesn't have anything to do with school. Food. I really wanted to start my raw "diet" this month. Yesterday to be exact. I at least wanted to start it in some capacity or another, whether I was 100% raw or 70-80%. I don't know that its gonna fair well for as long as I'm home. I'll be back in Boston by Friday though, so I should be able to do something. I am worried about my apartment, however, as due to poor planning, its still filthy. I'm not gonna have a lot of time to wash clothes and clean up, but it must get done before classes start on September 10th. Today is Tiffany's birthday and we are making a carrot cake for her...not good for me, but I'll think of it as a celebration to my new lifestyle. lol. Lame, I know. Nothing else to report really. I'm on the lookout for new raw recipes and such. We're having a barbecue for Labor Day, which is tomorrow. That's gonna be REAL interesting. I have veggie burgers, but it sucks to still be around food that I used to love so much. I'm not mad at all by people eating meat around me, but it sucks that I have to inconvenience people. Well, we'll see what happens. I'm excited to implement my changes. I'll keep you guys posted. Peace!
